"Hola dear Salseros"

Thomas here. I am originally From Cameroon, a country in central Africa.

I am a teacher on the salsa everybody team. I've been teaching salsa dancing & DJ for the past 7 years and I have been dancing for the past 20 years.

Music and Dance are my Hobbies. I am also a Taekwon-Do Instructor. I'm an Internationally qualified Black belt 2nd Dan Kukkiwon TaekwonDo with the World TaekwonDo Federation (W.T.F) and I am also a Member of the Irish Taekwondo Union (I.T.U). my website is www.tigertaekwondowtf.com.

I joined the salsa everybody team because I want to share with people the little knowledge I know about dancing.

I believe that everyone has rhythm and everyone can dance no matter what their background is or where they come from!

I believe that dancing is not hard or difficult, and that no one needs many years in some class before knowing how to enjoy music and dance. It just depends on how we learn and with whom we learn to dance!

My advice for all beginners is to start by learning the basic and routine Cuban Salsa steps correctly, then you can learn any kind of Salsa style to add to your Salsa dancing. As you know, Cuban Steps are the Mother of all Salsa Styles & Music.

Another piece of advice is that, if you find one class hard, just try somewhere else!

Dance is about fun and enjoyment, and it helps to release stress and makes us feel good. It also contributes to our general well being.

In our classes we are not serious about dancing, but we know how to do things with fun and everyone always goes home happy!!!

MUCHAS GRACIAS & HOPE TO SEE YOU ON THE DANCE FLOOR!!
